To Our Valued, Loyal Clients
We will be making changes to our current hours effective February 2023. We will be closing 2 Saturdays each month and we will be closing at 6:00pm on Fridays. In order to prioritize our current client base, we are not accepting new clients at this time. We will see new pets of existing clients.
We have made the difficult decision to make these changes to prioritize our staff’s well-being which in turn allows us to practice better medicine.
We have been short-staffed for over two years. We are typically a five doctor practice that is currently operating with three full time doctors. Hiring a veterinarian has proven very difficult given the shortage of veterinarians nationwide. As we continue to search for a veterinarian(s) to complement our current team, we have Dr. Kimya Davani, Dr. Kim Cross and Dr. Allison Shobe, relief veterinarians, working for us on a regular basis. The relief veterinarians have been very helpful in enabling us to see our clients in a timely manner; however there are still more patients needing care than our schedule can accommodate. As such, burn out is real. Our doctors and support staff are working more hours than scheduled, and the doctors are coming in on their days off. Like you, we have families to be cared for, and lives to be lived to the fullest. The status quo is no longer sustainable, thus the aforementioned changes.
We appreciate your understanding, patience, support and loyalty as we continue to adapt.
