June is National Adopt a Shelter Cat month. We thought it would be fun to put together a list of ideas on naming your new cat if you decide to go out and adopt one in celebration of this holiday. And, we are going to give you a list of the most popular cat names.
Here are some things to think about when choosing the perfect name for your new feline friend. Is your new cat male or female? Does your cat have any special colorings or markings in it’s fur? Does your cat have a unique personality? A lot of times people name their cats with the âeeâ sound at the end. For example, Kitty (here Kitty, kitty), Sassy, Pretty Kitty and one of my favorites is Matty (which is my cat’s name).
So what are some popular cat names? When going over possible cat names for your new cat, you might want to just start writing down some of your favorite names. You might decide to add a few of these to your list. Once you bring your cat home, you can test the names out to see if any of them fit your cat. One of the questions above asked if your cat has a unique personality. If your cat is always napping, maybe âSleepyâ would fit him. Here are ten popular cat names (not the most popular but popular none the less).
Kitty | Shadow | Princess | Max | Misty | Lucky | Mittens | Boots | Garfield | Sheba
